Important Licensing Information

Thank you for your interest in Paula K. Fuller digital assets. Please review the following licensing and copyright information to best understand the licensing agreements. If you have any questions at all, please send me a note via my website, paulakfuller.com. I’ll be happy to help!

All Paula K. Fuller graphics, patterns, and lettering are protected under copyright laws. Paula K. Fuller owns all the rights, including the copyrights to the graphics, patterns, and lettering. Your rights to use the graphics, patterns, and lettering are conditional upon you making payment to Paula K. Fuller for the usage rights of the graphics, patterns, and lettering.

EACH LICENSE IS GOOD FOR THREE (3) DEVICES:

The user’s primary and secondary computer (example - desktop and laptop) and one device (phone or tablet).

ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED:

Sublicensing, reselling, transferring or otherwise redistributing the purchased product. Additionally, claiming copyright to any Paula K. Fuller artwork and/or creations is strictly prohibited.

THIRD-PARTY EXTRACTION

You must ensure that when you create digital designs, the graphics and lettering cannot be extracted by a third-party user. This can be accomplished by adding a background, text, and/or overlapping elements. Additionally, the layers must be flattened so that the purchased product cannot be extracted and used by a third-party.

PRINT-ON-DEMAND REQUIREMENTS

Print-on-demand (P.O.D) is permitted. However, regardless of the license purchased, the design uploaded to the print-on-demand website must be your original end-product design, not stand-alone (read on for further explanation and examples).

Licensing Agreement Details

STANDARD LICENSE includes personal and commercial use (see “EXAMPLES OF COMMERCIAL USE” BELOW) of the purchased graphic(s), pattern(s), lettering up to 5,000 collective units of end-product.

******End-product must be your own creation and significantly different than the original product purchased. It must be part of a larger design.

EXTENDED LICENSE includes personal and commercial use (see “EXAMPLES OF COMMERCIAL USE” BELOW) of the purchased graphic(s), pattern(s), lettering up to 250,000 collective units of end-product.

******End-product must be your own creation and significantly different than the original product purchased. It must be part of a larger design.

UNLIMITED PRINT EDITION LICENSE includes personal and commercial use of the graphic(s), pattern(s), lettering on physical products an unlimited number of times. The graphic(s), pattern(s), lettering can also be used stand-alone on physical products. DIGITAL PRODUCTS and STAMPS are PROHIBITED under this license.

**Please note that the THIRD-PARTY EXTRACTION REQUIREMENT still applies. Please see page1 for additional details.

EXAMPLES OF COMMERCIAL USE
include invitations/wedding stationery you sell to a client/company; or branding items such as logos, social media posts, and banners.

Graphics and Lettering

STANDARD LICENSE and EXTENDED LICENCSE

End-product must be your own creation and significantly different than the original product purchased. It must be part of a larger design.

For example:

If you purchased this seahorse graphic........

A red line is shown on the side of a green background.

Under the Standard and Extended Licenses,
it is PROHIBITED to use the graphic stand-alone as shown here.

(If you would like to use the graphic in a stand-alone fashion, please purchase the Unlimited Print Addition License.)

Helpful Examples

Seamless Patterns

STANDARD LICENSE and EXTENDED LICENSE

If you purchase a collection of patterns like these:

A plaid and floral pattern background

No single pattern may be used stand-alone, like this:

A white polka dot pattern on a light blue background.

However, you may use a combination of at least two (2) patterns within the collection to create your own end-product design. Like this:

UNLIMITED PRINT EDITION LICENSE

You may use the patterns in a stand-alone fashion under the Unlimited Print Edition License. Print-on-demand is permitted per the requirements stated on page 1 (example: one or more of the patterns could be used to design a pillow to be sold on a P.O.D. website). However, digital products are prohibited under this license including selling the patterns as is on a website for print such as Spoonflower.
